Leveraging our strategic networks in these North and South American capitals, the CGS team drives the conversation about Argentina at the global and national level. We deliver global-level assessments of how geo-political and geo-economic risks shape the international environment in Argentina and throughout South America and we offer ground-level assessments of how economic, political, and social risks influence investment opportunities in Argentina.

Luciano Codeseira and Michael McCarthy are the co-founders of Ceibo Growth Strategies.
Luciano P. Codeseira
Based in Buenos Aires, Luciano is a recognized expert on energy, economics, and politics with over two decades of experience advising companies and international organizations about the opportunities in Argentina’s energy sector. For over a decade, Codeseira was a member of the Energy Strategy Advisory Council of the Ministry of Energy where he led the hydrocarbons area of ​​the Strategic Planning Group in the Secretariat of Energy. He is also managing partner of Gas Energy Latin America for Argentina and Uruguay.
Michael M. McCarthy
Based in Washington DC, Michael is a recognized expert on politics, geo-economics, geo-politics, and U.S. foreign policy with two decades of experience advising companies and international organizations about the investment opportunities and risks in Latin America. McCarthy is founder and CEO of Caracas Wire LLC, a research advisory specializing in Venezuela. He is also a Professor of International Affairs at George Washington University.
